Hotspots and Pollution Prevention

Industrial yard

Stormwater hotspots can be found throughout the developed watershed, including commercial, industrial, institutional, municipal, transportation, and even residential land uses. These sites may not always be obvious, but can contribute a significant pollutant load to the stormwater system. This module provides a full menu of identifying, investigating, and addressing stormwater hotspots, including methods for preventing new development sites from becoming hotspots.
