Flory Park Buffer

Flory Park Buffer

Project Team
East Lampeter Township Lancaster County Conservation District Mill Creek Preservation Association
Project Description

This 4.2 acre forested buffer included approximately 100 native trees and 25 native shrubs per acre. The new buffer was designed to create multiple habitat zones through varied tree height and planting density. The buffer also created a habitat corridor, connecting two existing habitat parcels in an otherwise densely developed area.
