Project Description

The Veggie Box project was chosen for its creative application of several technologies, most notably a “self-watering” reservoir that promotes denitrification of captured stormwater. This BMP can be easily and inexpensively built, and is therefore highly transferrable throughout the Bay. Furthermore, this BMP serves the dual purpose of providing food production in addition to stormwater management.
