Project Description

This project combined stormwater BMPs with stream restoration to improve water quality. The improvements involved enhancing wetland systems, installing in-stream rock weirs, removing invasive species, planting native trees and shrubs, constructing sand filters, and developing an effective sediment management plan.

Best Combination of BMP in a Series

This category regognizes projects that utlized two or more practices in a series, for the best possible treatment of stormwater. Example projects include: larger residential or commercial development projects and/or small watershed restoration projects that involve multiple practices working together.
