This panel will explore diversity, equity, inclusion and environmental justice in the context of the stormwater management practice and profession. After a brief report on the demographic metrics of the Bay stormwater community, a panel representing the public, private and NGO sectors will candidly discuss barriers to representation in the profession, current approaches to equitable and inclusive watershed planning, and lessons we can learn from our colleagues on fostering more diverse and collaborative workplaces.

Distinguished Panelists: Tuana Phillips (EPA, CBPO); Jennifer Dowdell (Biohabitats); Frank Dawson (Montgomery County, MD); TBA (Capital Region Water, Harrisburg); Abel Olivo (Defensores De La Cuenca); Edward Stoker (USFWS)
