Welcome to Stormwater “Roots”! In this new, multi-part series, we will be looking at a series of tree-BMPs and how local governments can use these practices to meet their pollution reduction and canopy goals.
Speakers:
Robert Corletta, D.C. Department of Transportation
Steven Traylor, City of Norfolk
Justin Shafer, City of Norfolk
In part two of Stormwater “Roots”, we are talking about the “design” challenges of planting trees in confined urban spaces. We will be looking at constraints and best practices for good tree growth and survival for street trees and ultra urban plantings.
