Green Infrastructure Design Competition – Blair County, PA

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and American Rivers announce the Blair County, PA Green Infrastructure Design Competition! The competition invites design teams– including an engineer, landscape architect and construction contractor licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, and other professionals or local experts at the team’s discretion—to submit green infrastructure designs for up to three sites in Blair County, PA. Submitted designs will be judged by a panel of experts and then the general public. Awards will be given for each site. Final judging will occur at a public forum in Blair County the week of April 18, 2016. Winning teams will develop a contract to implement a portion of the winning design in the summer of 2016.

In addition, there will be an informational workshop on December 15th in Blair County to discuss design and competition objectives, review the competition process and visit the design sites.
