Applications due by October 9 !!

Applications are now being accepted for grants to provide funds for the construction of urban stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) to reduce the discharge of nutrients and sediments delivered to the Chesapeake Bay. Municipalities (cities, boroughs or incorporated towns) within the Chesapeake Bay drainage area are eligible to apply; other parties who are interested in promoting stormwater BMP construction are encouraged to approach municipal officials and offer to assist in application development and project management.

The due date for applications is October 9, 2015. The maximum funding amount per applicant is $200,000. Construction must be complete within two years. Funding recipients will be selected on a competitive basis.
