Good housekeeping is one of the 6 minimum management measures Municipal Pollution prevention_trucksthat MS4 communities are required to meet as a condition of their permits. The goal of this minimum measure is to:

  • Reduce polluted runoff from municipal operations
  • Train employees and contractors on how to incorporate good housekeeping techniques into municipal operations
  • Identify appropriate best management practices and measurable goals

In this webcast, we will hear from the City of Charlotte on best practices for field operations, training and more.  We will also review CSN’s Benchmarking tool that you can use to assess hotspot facilities and public works yards and help prioritize your work.
