This webcast will provide an introduction and overview of the requirements and development of the Chesapeake Bay Pollution Reduction Plan as required the Pennsylvania Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Permit for discharges to waters with a Total Maximum Daily Load containing Waste Load Allocations (and Load Allocations). We will cover a range of topics including strategies for using land use data, such as GIS, to identify, map, and assess locations for the incorporation of Green Infrastructure (otherwise commonly referred to as Low Impact Development, Environmental Site Design, or Better Site Design) or retrofitting existing infrastructure with various types of BMPs to help meet the load reduction goals for Total Phosphorus, Total Nitrogen, and Suspended Solids as outlined in the Pennsylvania Phase II Chesapeake Watershed Implementation Plan.
For folks like us with short attention spans, we prefer to describe the webcast as an introduction and overview of the PA MS4 CBPRP for discharges to waters with a TMDL containing WLAs & LAs using GIS to develop GI, LID, ESD, or BSD BMPs and modeled in CAST to meet TP, TN, and TS PA WIP II Goals.
We hope you’ll join us.
