In part three of Stormwater “Roots”, we are getting into the details of the different tree BMPs that you can use for Chesapeake Bay TMDL credit: Tree Canopy Expansion, Forest Planting and Riparian Buffer Plantings. Julie and Sally will walk you through the differences between each practice and help identify opportunities for fitting these BMPs into your communities stormwater program. Then, Diane will discuss what the City of Fredericksburg is doing to better integrate their urban forestry efforts with their stormwater program, and how they are identifying opportunities to expand canopy in their city!
