Stormwater design at high intensity redevelopment sites has emerged as a major stormwater implementation challenge in nearly every Bay state. The Chesapeake Stormwater Network and the Center for Watershed Protection under the auspices of the Chesapeake Bay Stormwater Training Partnership will be conducting a series of webcasts and workshops in 2013 that will focus stormwater management and TMDL compliance at federal facilities in the Bay watershed. These training events will be targeted toward federal agencies that need to implement the new 438 stormwater criteria for federal redevelopment projects.
The first of such training workshops is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the USFWS Patuxent National Wildlife Visitor Center in Laurel, MD. This workshop will be appropriate for Federal Property Managers, MS4 Permit Managers, Environmental Compliance Officers, Support Consultants.
