Become part of a dedicated team implementing the most advanced, Phase I Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit in Virginia, issued nearly two-years ahead of any other VA Phase I local government. Arlington County’s Department of Environmental Services (DES) is seeking a Stormwater Program Specialist to work on its Watershed Management Team in the Office of Sustainability and Environmental Management (OSEM). The Stormwater Program Specialist will work in support of the County’s comprehensive watershed and stormwater management programs, with particular focus on the requirements of the County’s MS4 Permit. The core program area supported by this position focuses on stormwater management facility (SWMF) construction, inspection, maintenance, tracking, and enforcement, with a growing emphasis on green infrastructure practices.
